Applicants
Information for Applicants
We use the ERAS system of standardized applications. Please follow the instructions accompanying that form. We require the completed application form, your Dean's letter, 3 letters of recommendation, USMLE score (Step 1 and 2) and an official transcript. Applications are accepted from October 1 to January 31. After review of the application, an invitation for an interview may be issued at the discretion of the Selection Committee. In general, interviews are offered after receipt of your Dean's letter which is usually available after November 1. If your medical school requires USMLE I and II passage in order to graduate, please be sure that you complete and pass these exams in a timely fashion. We cannot make allowances for "LATE" graduation, i.e. internship must begin on June 24. Additional documents which may be required in individual cases include immigration status documents showing a classification which allows further training in the U.S., ECFMG and/or USMLE I and II scores, and the status verification letter from the Medical Board of California.
